Comments: My Grandmother has AD and we are trying to make sure she is getting everything she needs. Information about medicines and everything is very much needed. It's been very hard on my father watching his mother go through this. He is an only child and has all the decisions to make my himself. It is a heavy burden for us all.

Comments: I learned about you last nite from my second visit to AOL's caregivers chat group for Dementia. My Mother is 88 years old and is in a rapidly progressive state of Dementia. I am very scared she is so different now than even 2 weeks ago. I am an only child so I bear this alone. All I have is your support which I am sure will help me and a city support group to which I belong. I am a strong person as I cared for my father until he died in 1980 and have cared for Mom since 1985 when she was diagnosed with osteporosis. That too is severe along with a progressive kidney disease. I cross my fingers each day. I have begun to keep a diary of each day of things she tells me I don't know why but the things she says are just so different than all the years I have grown up. Thanks again for the web site I really appreciate it. Ginny

Comments: I am using this avenue to e-mail you since I did not see a link for regular e-mail. I hope that this is okay. I discovered your site a round about way which is very typical for the web.You were listed as a link on Anna Marie's Place. And I discovered Anna Marie's Place page through the Senior Webring of which I am a member. I am very impressed by your site, not just for the information and support you provide your members but the genuine, ultra sensitive manner in which you are there for them, and the way in which you encourage them to be with one another. It's truly a humbling experience to be permitted to share in the thoughts, and emotions of your members. I am thinking of several ways in which we may be able to help one another. First, I would like permission to put your site as a link from my site. Please review my site and advise me as to whether this is permissible. Second, is there a way that you can link my site on to yours? Also I would like very much to contribute information in the form of articles to your site. Is this permitted. I look forward to hearing from you. Again, it was a pleasure reading the information on your site. I for one would like to get the word out about your site to seniors, caregivers (by the way,I commend you for the distinction made between caretakers and caregivers), and professionals. Take Care. Sincerely, Mary Van Everbroeck www.elderservice.com

Comments: I have been reading the Ribbon for over two years and find it to be alot of help while I had my husband at home and now that he is in the home I still attend support group and try to help others. I am still dealing with the AD problems even though he is taken care of by others so I find it very helpful.
