Sausage Chowder

Ingredients:

- 1/2 pound sausage (your choice)
|
- 1 can light red kidney beans
|
- 1 can tomatoes diced or stewed
|
|
|
|
|
|
- 1 clove garlic - or more to taste
|
- 1 medium potatoe - diced (added last 30 minutes before serving)
|
Directions:
Cook sausage, then drain. In same pan saute onion, pepper,add salt & pepper, spices, garlic. Add sausage, diced tomatoes, kidney beans and cook for 2 hours on low heat. Add potatoe and cook for 30 minutes more. Serve with French bread and salad. |
