Bloody Mary Sauce

Great pick me up sauce, for steak, pork, chicken and hamburgers.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup finely grated fresh horseradish
  • l cup tomato juice
  • 2 tablespoons vodka
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons fressh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon sugar

Directions:

In medium saucepan, combine all sauce ingredients, whisking to dissolve cornstarch. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute or until sauce thickens.Remove from heat; cover to keep warm.
Sprinkle meat with 1/2 teaspoon celery salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Pour sauce over meat and serve.
Left over sauce may be frozen.
