This is an easy way to kick plain old brownie's up a notch.

Prep Time: 5 min

Ingredients:

• Duncan Hines Turtle Brownie mix

• English toffee bits - approx. 2 cups

• muffin cups

Directions:

Mix the brownie batter as instructed on the box for cakelike brownies, but add 1 cup of toffee bits to the batter. For best results, spray the muffin cups with non-stick cooking spray. Add the batter to the cups, filling them about 2/3 full. Take the caramel pouch that is included in the mix and squirt about a nickel size dollop of caramel in the center and tap muffin pan on the counter. Sprinkle remaining toffee chips on top and bake at 350 for about 20-25 minutes. Makes a great snack to send for school parties or get togethers. Those attending the Gathering of Friends will get to try it first hand. You may use any brownie mix,you just won't have the added caramel.
